Empowering Originality: We Make Noise Launches in Singapore at Timbre+ One North

On August 20, 2025, We Make Noise proudly marked a major milestone with the launch of its very first Asia-Pacific chapter in Singapore. Hosted at Timbre+ One North, the evening brought together artists, industry leaders, and music lovers for a night of conversation, community, and live music. Titled “Empowering Originality & Music Vibrancy in Singapore”, the event created a space to celebrate creativity and connection.

Inspiring Conversations

The event featured a dynamic panel of leaders who are actively shaping Singapore’s music landscape:

• Danny Loong (Co-Founder & CEO of Timbre Group, President of the Singapore Nightlife Business Association)

• Shazza (Artist & Songwriter, Cross Ratio Entertainment)

• Awi Rafael (Managing Partner, Timbre Music Academy)

• Jocelle Koh (Founder, Asian Pop Weekly & Fluffie)

Together, they shared experiences and perspectives on building sustainable music careers, strengthening the local ecosystem, and fostering collaboration. Their insights sparked meaningful dialogue around the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Singapore’s music community.

The night also featured captivating live performances by YAØ, Awi Rafael, and Ranya Iyer. Each act highlighted the originality and creativity that define Singapore’s music scene, leaving the audience inspired and energized.
