From workshops to forums, interviews to intentional networking, We Make Noise made a powerful mark at BIME Bogotá 2025. Across three days of programming, we activated spaces of creation, conversation, and connection — all rooted in our commitment to equity in music. Through hands-on collaboration, feminist dialogue, cross-border alliances, and media visibility, our presence resonated far beyond the event itself.
A workshop that builds Community through sound and story
At BIME Bogotá 2025, We Make Noise showcased its mission to amplify underrepresented voices in the music industry. Led by Natalia Bautista (WMN Bogotá) and supported by Symphonic, our collaborative songwriting workshop brought together over 65 participants from across Latin America to explore composition through the lens of community and equity.
Conversations That Shift the System
At the “Construyendo Equidad” forum hosted by MIM LATAM, WMN Global’s Ángela Cortés joined key leaders from Guatemala, Colombia, and Panama for a rich dialogue on feminist perspectives in music. The focus: creativity and collectivity as tools for change in the Latin American industry.
Ellas Suenan: Purpose-Driven Networking
Together with Women in Music and Symphonic Latino, we co-hosted Ellas Suenan, the official BIME networking cocktail. Over 130 women and gender-diverse professionals from seven countries came together to connect intentionally and spark long-term collaborations across roles and borders. BIME BOGOTA We Make Noise.
A Spotlight in the Official BIME Guide
Our work was featured in the official BIME Guide, with an in-depth interview with Ángela Cortés highlighting WMN’s global vision, key initiatives like WMN Sessions and WMN Festivals, and the power of collective action to create systemic change.

BIME Bogotá gave us new allies, fresh ideas, and momentum to continue driving impact. From Bogotá to Mexico City and beyond, our noise transforms. And we’re just getting started.
