NEW YORK CITY

The We Make Noise NYC chapter is our oldest chapter, which was founded by Erin Barra in 2013 at the Lower Eastside Girls Club. Now, teaching production, DJ, mixing, and songwriting workshops, the chapter is led by Dani Murcia and Nan Macmillan. Murcia is a producer and artist who creates unique worlds through lush harmonies and haunting melodies, in an attempt to stimulate curiosity and open conversation about topics often stigmatized. Macmillan is a songwriter and producer who is also the Director of Communications for We Make Noise Global.
